When I was 8 years old, just 2 years after I came to the US, I saw a commercial for the EZ Bake Oven. I asked my Mom for it as my Christmas present.
Being a practical Chinese mother, she said: “Why get a toy when we already have a real oven”.
That’s the moment my baking career started. Whenever my parents entertained, I made desserts.
Fast forward to Leonia and after a career in cosmetics. I rekindled my baking passion. First, I made desserts, again, whenever we entertained. Then, I branched out to providing plates of baked goods to friends at their gatherings.
Finally, in 2024, I decided to launch Sugar Bombs by K by baking up a storm...
